Andreas Ketels

Artist Andreas Ketels loves fire. He worked as a technician for Circus Ronaldo and was active as a fire breather with 'Pyromantiek', a company for fire street theatre. Almost ten years ago, Ketels first drew a design for a fire basket. After dozens of tests, he launched the first model in mid-2019. The fire baskets and candle holders, handmade in a brand new workshop in Heist-op-den-Berg, are for sale in exclusive outdoor shops, specialist outdoor fire shops, interior boutiques and art galleries. The company is not only capitalising on the popularity of corona drinks in the freezing cold, but is also extending the 'outdoor luxury' trend of exclusive outdoor furniture and 'planchas' for barbecuing in the garden.
