About the artist
Christiaan Lodewijk Willem Dreibholz (Utrecht 1799-Utrecht 1874) was a Dutch painter. He made paintings, watercolours, drawings and lithograps. He was a pupil of the painter J.C. Schotel. He mostly worked in the Netherlands, France and Great-Britain.
Dreibholtz was a member of 'Arti Sacrum' in Rotterdam and the Royal Academy in Amsterdam.
