Hendrikus Elias Roodenburg

Hendrikus Elias Roodenburg was a Dutch painter, draftsman and etcher who lived and worked in The Hague and Italy. After 1925 he lived in Wassenaar. He mainly became known for his cityscapes of amongst others Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht and also painted landscapes and still lives in the Naturalist style. He was a member of the artist associations Arti et Amicitiae and St. Lucas in Amsterdam and Pulchri Studio in The Hague.
