Born in Versailles, Jean Georges was active in the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century. He also signed his work with Georges-Jean. He worked for Les-Essarts-le-Roi, among others. He has also exhibited his enamel works several times at the Paris Salons and the 1900 World Exhibition. His enamels can be found in various museums, including the Berliner Kunstgewerbemuseum and the Musée Petit Palais in Paris.
