About the artist

The French sculptor Louis Emile Cacheux was born in Paris in 1874. He was a pupil of Verlet. He was a soloist. The leading theme in his work was women.

Only a few of his works are known, he often only had one piece cast in bronze, which makes his work very rare. His sculptures are always of high quality, he was very talented.

His work was cast by the famous bronze founders Goddard and Valsuani.
