Otto Dicke

Otto Dicke (Dordrecht, 3 May 1918 - Aldaar, 7 December 1984) was a Nederlands beeldend Kunstenaar, tekenaar en illustrator, cartoonist, striptekenaar, illustrator van Kinder- en other boeken en ontwerper van mozaïeken voor scholen en kerken.

Otto Dicke was a known artist with a heavy band in Dordrecht and tomorrow. For 50 years he had a studio in the building of Teekengenootschap Pictura. 'Een leven getekend' is the title of the documentaire by Wendeline Wilmink in 1983, referring to the leven en work by Otto Dicke. The film was born and believed to be self-taught. Vaak verbleef that in zijn geliefde Alblasserwaard en op het Eiland van Dordrecht, waar that talloze schetsen vervaardigde.

Otto Dicke published other illustrations in the book Verzet in a district of K. van Loon. Otto Dicke was a brother of Leni Dicke, most important of all. Door verraad will be arrested by Leni Dicke.
