Rosemin Hendriks

Rosemin Hendriks was born in Velp in 1968. From 1992 she studied at De Ateliers in Amsterdam. From 1987 to 1992 she studied at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem. Hendriks uses faces as the starting point for her works. Each face is drawn, in mainly linear fashion, using charcoal and Conté on a large sheet of paper. The large size creates a sense of empathy and feelings of disassociation and alienation.
