Petronella Huberta van Lith, also called Nel van Lith, is a Dutch sculptor who was born in Blaricum on 22 November 1932. She creates abstract, cubist and naturalist sculptures of bronze and stone. Van Lith studied under Piet Esser at the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten (State Academy of Fine Arts) in Amsterdam. From the 1960s she lived in a farmhouse on the outskirts of Amsterdam, nearby the Bijlmer. Later on, she moved to Flevoland. She exhibited in 1964 for the first time. Her work is included in the collections of the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Beelden aan Zee (Scheveningen) and Kröller-Müller museum (Otterlo). Van Lith is a member of the Amsterdam art society Arti et Amicitiae and the Nederlandse Kring van Beeldhouwers.
