- About the artist
Caroline Mulders prefers to paint blossoms of trees and flowers of shrubs. They keep her busy and fascinate her: so much beauty in gnarled branches, so much softness in the hard wood. They are miracles of early life that she manages to capture on the canvas with brush and brush, with love and patience. Her expressively painted strong trees with blossoms carry an exuberant, almost voluptuous spring atmosphere: the flowers demand fertilization.
