  • About the artist

    Kathy Elliott graduated from the Canberra School of Art in 1992. She taught various classes in the field of glass-making at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, Pilchuck Glass School, Toyama Institute of Glass Art , South Australia University and the Canberra School of Art.

    Benjamin Edols graduated from Sydney College of the Arts, and finished his studies in 1992 at the Canberra School of Art. Ben, on his account, taught various classes at the Pilchuck Glass School , The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass ,Toyama Institute of Glass Art , Niijima Glass Centre and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.

    Since 1993, Elliott and Edols have been working together. Their work is part of the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, among others. Since 2000, they established their own 'glassblowing and coldworking' studio in Sydney, where they recently have been working with capturing nature, botanical shapes and organic patterns in glass.
