Charles Masson

Charles Masson, Maïtre since 1717 was a renowned Parisian clockmaker. He is known to have worked in the Rue G-l’Asnier from 1786 until 1783. He signed his work with ‘MASSON A PARIS’. Amongst his work is one particular example of a French cartel clock, made of gilt bronze, in Louis XVI-style.
