Lucien Delmas (1936, Montpellier, France) is a French painter. He studied under Georges Dezeuze at the École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Arts) of Montpellier (France). He is particularly noted for his children’s faces, his delicate young girls, his somewhat frivolous women, and his flower sellers. He received many prizes and exhibited in numerous salons, museums and galleries, A short selection of shows and awards: Galerie du Causse, Villeneuve, 2017; Galerie d’Art du Passage, Périgueux, 2017. Delmas was awarded the Dagnan-Bouveret Prize in 2005; the Fondation Taylor Prize in 2007; the received the first prize of Painting at the Salon de l’Armée aux Invalides, 2007.
