- Over kunstwerkNieuwe Honsel was a firm specialized in stained leaded glass, they manufactured lamps in the The Hague area . These so called "Amsterdamse school lampen" were made, amongst others, for cinema's as Tuschinski in Amsterdam and many private mansions. This advertisement, in leaflet form, was designed by Frits Woltjes (1903-1934) and was exhibited at the major exhibition on the "Amsterdamse school" in the Stedelijk museum in Amsterdam, held from april 9th up un til august 28 - 2016.
- Over kunstenaarFrits Woltjes (1903-1934) was a Dutch artist who associated with the Amsterdamse School movement. He was a designer of advertisements but he also decorated lamps which were manufactured by Nieuwe Honsel, specialized in stained leaded glass. These lamps were manufactured for cinema’s, like Metropole Tuschinki in Amsterdam, and various private mansions.
