Barraud era una famiglia di produttori di orologi e orologi, originaria di Philip Barraud di Angoulême che si stabilì a Greenwich intorno al 1680. Le generazioni includono Francis Gabriel 1727-1795, Paul Philip 1752-1820, Frederick Joseph 1785-1859, John 1790-1840, Frederick Filippo 1812-1849 e Hilton Paul 1819-1880.
