    Art nouveau heavy christal vase made by Fritz Heckert glasworks. The straight almost abstract styly of the graphic artist Ludwig Sutterlin is very avantgarde for the time. The motiv is ennamelled and the lines aroud it are deeply engraved in the christal to make the lines even more tight.

    Ludwig Sütterlin è stato un grafico, scrittore e pedagogo tedesco di Lahr, in Germania. Sütterlin ha studiato alla "Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums" o all'Accademia di arti applicate di Berlino. In seguito avrebbe insegnato alla Crafts School di Berlino.
