About the artdealer
MAPPA Maps is a specialized city antiques shop, founded by drs. Hans J.H. ten Brinke, and located in the center of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Hans ten Brinke, originally a social geographer, has been collecting antique city maps for more than 10 years.
In those years he has built up a collection of only high-quality and original, special copper engravings. These are all in good technical condition and have been attractively colored, old or old-fashioned, by hand.
After his studies, Hans ten Brinke worked for the national government, universities and in consultancy. His last position was that of director of corporate communications for a large institutional investor. Hans is also the owner/founder of MAPPA Consult, an agency for strategic dialogue.
