Amiran Djanashvili (born 1963) is a Georgian-Dutch sculptor known for his powerful, monumental sculptures that blend classical forms with contemporary expression. Trained at the prestigious Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, he developed an early fascination with human anatomy, mythology, and the tension between vulnerability and strength. These themes remain at the heart of his oeuvre to this day.

After moving to the Netherlands in the 1990s, Djanashvili found a new artistic home. In his studio, he primarily works with bronze, stone, and wood—materials he manipulates with exceptional skill and almost architectural precision. His sculptures are often inspired by universal emotions: struggle, balance, connection, and inner movement. Despite their robust appearance, they exude a striking elegance and tranquility.
