Attasit Pokpong

Attisit Pokpong is a Thai contemporary artist, born in 1977. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Rajamonkong Institute of Technology and started his career at the end of the 90s. He is specialised in oil paintings and watercolours. He is known for his portraits of Asian people with colourful lips. He also creates street scenes, representing Thai locals populating the Bangkok urban landscape. His work has been shown in many collective and solo exhibitions in galleries and fairs in Bangkok, Shanghai, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Basel, Melbourne or Miami. He currently lives in Bangkok.
