Gennadi Gorskow

Gennady Gorshkov (Yaroslavl 1959) graduated from the Art Academy in his native city in 1978. In 1985 he also graduated from the Moscow Art School. Since 1986 he has participated in regional exhibitions. Since 1993 he has been studying mural painting at the “Yaroslavskaya Icona” under the guidance of Nikolai Mukhin. 

G. Gorshkov has been a member of the Artists' Union of Russia since 1996. In 2000 he was honored with a diploma and a medal from the Russian Academy of Arts. What is special about his still lifes and landscape paintings are the spatula technique and the very harmonious color palette.
