About the artist

With a fascination for seventeenth century art in mind Jeroen creates his stilllifes. Both classic Pronkstilllifes and vanitas as very abstract works. But the seventeenth century is an umbrella theme within his photography, which is itself characterized by extreme sharpness where every detail becomes visible.
The used objects, composition and use of light tell his story.
Jeroen Luijt graduated at the Photo academy in Amsterdam in 2015.
