    Auguste Boehringer (1913-1971) – Bisches Blanche
    The artist Auguste Boehringer was born in 1913, at the same time as Eugene Harris, Edoardo Alfieri, Millicent E. Ayrton, Thelma Van Alstyne and Amadeu Asensi. Auguste Boehringer was mainly influenced by developments in the 1930s.
    Not much is known about the artist, but beautiful works of his turn up regularly, during auctions and sales.

    Auguste Boehringer (1913–1974) was a French painter, born in 1913, a contemporary of artists such as Eugene Harris, Edoardo Alfieri and Millicent E. Ayrton.

    He was known for his paintings of the Vosges landscape and other scenes from Alsace. His work is characterized by a realistic style and a keen eye for detail.

    Boehringer was also director of the École des Beaux-Arts in Mulhouse. His paintings are still appreciated and regularly appear at auctions and in art collections.
