- About the artworkVery special clock from Prague. Artêl is the Czech counterpart of the Wiener Werkstätten. This clock is also depicted in the standard work on Artêl. This is a rare work of art of museum quality. We know the technique from Ehrard und söhne, and it is very possible that they produced this clock. However, the refined technique of brass and wood inlay has been given an abstract form here. The design with the typical triangular surfaces has been given a refined interpretation here.
