- About the artist
Ralph Bakker is Dutch contemporary jewellery designer who was born on July 13, 1958. Bakker lives and works in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Ralph Bakker attended the Dutch Intermediate Technical School in Schoonhoven, the Netherlands from 1986 to 1991 before enrolling at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam from 1991 to 1994. In between Bakker worked under the supervision of Peggy Bannenberg.
Bakker has had numerous solo exhibitions in the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. He also participated in many group exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States.
Ralph Bakker’s work is featured in several renowned public and private collections, including the Newark Museum of Art, the Koch Collection in Switzerland and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
