“Drawing becomes for me a way of approaching the origin and structure of form and matter. In my works I want to convey an idea of movement and energy in transformation, through forms that are born or disintegrate as part of a continuous process of creation and disappearance. Each form grows and evolves in itself and is organised into increasingly complex systems. Everything is interrelated as part of a global network. Imagining the origin of forms and matter also raises a broader reflection on the mystery of life and man’s connection to the universe. The answers that man has given from different fields such as science, thought or spirituality inspire many of my works.” - Albert Espona
