Johannes Hari Sr. (1772 - Den Haag - 1849): portrait miniature of a young lady in a white gown and blue shawl.
Watercolour on ivory.
Signed and dated "J.Hari Pt 1814".
In original leather case. Hari was appointed court painter to the Dutch Royal family and painted the marriage portrait of Prince Frederik and Princesse Louise of Prussia (1825). His works can be found in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam (miniature of Princesse Wilhelmina of Prussia) and the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague.
