- About the artwork
A jewel that whispers of theatre and evening elegance, this vintage diamond ring evokes the refined glamour of the 1920s. Its openwork plaque shimmers with layered diamond motifs, radiating from a central old brilliant cut. The scalloped design, set inyellow and white gold, hints at Belle Époque grace while embracing Art Deco boldness. Ornate yet balanced, it draws the eye without demanding it, offering a glimpse into an era where beauty was meant to be admired slowly, with care.

Country of origin
Unknown. Despite careful examination, no hallmarks or distinctive features could be identified that would allow us to attribute this jewel to a specific country. Its materials and construction, however, do allow us to confidently date it to around 1920.
Style
A refined blend of Belle Époque elegance and emerging Art Deco geometry. The ring’s scalloped design and openwork structure evoke late 19th-century romanticism, while the symmetry and crisp setting already hint at the stylistic shift of the 1920s.
