Hendrik Jacobus Valk (Zoeterwoude, January 12, 1897 - Arnhem, September 3, 1986) was a great Dutch art, known from his paintings, watercolors, illustrations and theater design. The style is overeencomsten vertoonde with the van de leden van De Stijl, koos Valk ervoor zich niet bij deze movement aan te sluiten. In the context of the development there is a special need for abstraction, which is of course a starting point for details that come from the essence of the essence.
Vroege Leven en Opleiding
Valk was born in Zoeterwoude and also had young artistic talent. Op 15-year-old leeftijd began his study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, was op 19-year-old leeftijd de file M.O. tekenen behaalde.
Career in artistic development
In the meantime, Valk worked as a teacher in the summer of 1916 in a plaggenhut in Stroe, where he had various books. Hij woonde korte tijd in a boerderij in Wassenaar, waar hij a woonwagen timmerde en daarmee naar Groningen trok, waar zijn broer, beeldhouwer Willem Valk, woonde. Born in 1917 and 1920, he had a studio on the Posthoflaantje in Leiden. In 1920 Theo van Doesburg built his studio at the Galgewater in Leiden aan. From 1922 to 1926 he lived and worked in Wassenaar, Katwijk aan Zee, Marum (Groningen) and Veere. In 1926 he was born in Arnhem, which was later published in the Academie for Fine Arts (now ArtEZ), in a position that was founded in 1957.
Stijl en Invloeden
Valk was a great variety of art: the pictures included watercolors, paintings, etsen, lithographies and photogravures. The work includes pictures of bomen, figures, nudes, landscapes, portraits and spots.
Nalatenschap
Hendrik Valk wrote a diverse oeuvre that was made to look at visual works, combined with a unique abstraction. This work is still in use and used, and is included as art and teaching is available in the Dutch art collection.
