Ans Hey was a Dutch sculptor who studied in London, Avignon and Amsterdam. Without her high school diploma, she struggled to be admitted to an art academy, eventually being admitted to a drawing school located in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam which she finished in 1952. She has lived in numerous places in Europe ever since, always creating art and sculpting fervently. She passed away in 2010 in the Netherlands.
