  Through Corona became that drawing a much stronger meaning.
  The seagull in art symbolizes travel and homesickness, but also freedom and borders. Over the past year, we've lost a lot of what we took for granted: being close to other people, physical contact, getting out in the fresh air, or traveling whenever you want, wherever you want, however you want. The painting speaks about the desire to be able to go back to the sea again, to feel the fresh wind in the hair, to be fearless, to listen the screams of the seagulls. And it speaks also about the desire to return to the old life.

  Brita Seifert, Feiticeira com pastel e lápis de cor Em cada trabalho tenta incorporar uma emoção reconhecível, muitas vezes coisas da vida quotidiana com uma certa expressividade que é altamente relevante para as imagens fantásticas, eróticas e magicamente realistas. O trabalho de Brita é inspirado principalmente pela música, viagens e experiências pessoais. Brita Seifert começou a desenhar com lápis e papel em 1980, ela desenhou modelos pela primeira vez por três anos antes de ser admitida na academia de artes gráficas e ilustração em Leipzig, onde foi aluna do Prof. dr. Heinz Wagner e Werner Hennig. De 1988 a 1989, ela também frequentou a Academia de Artes Visuais de Berlim. De 1989 a 1992, Brita Seifert viveu na Itália e aí se inspirou em Leonardo Da Vinci e Albrecht Dürer, entre outros, mas também em pintores contemporâneos como Bruno Di Maio e Walter Girotto.
