He lives and works in Amsterdam, where he uses his immediate surroundings as his main source of inspiration. His work is characterized by capturing everyday scenes, revealing the hidden beauty in ordinary life.
Vorstman paints mainly from nature and looks for surprising perspectives in everyday scenes. His subjects range from cityscapes and interiors to seascapes and portraits. He has a special interest in the dynamics of city life, which is clearly reflected in his paintings of Amsterdam and New York.
