About the artist
Roman Feral, born in 1990 in Paris, France, is an internationally recognized contemporary artist known for his unique sculptures that combine luxury brands with the delicate beauty of butterflies. His work celebrates the sophistication of iconic fashion items, transforming them into timeless works of art through the integration of natural elements.
Self-taught, Feral has developed a deep understanding of both traditional and innovative techniques within the luxury market. His pursuit of perfection is reflected in the meticulous attention to detail in each of his pieces. By positioning butterflies in a state of flight, he creates the illusion of an eternal journey, transforming the ephemeral into the timeless.
Feral’s breakthrough came in 2018 when he exhibited his first collection at Art Basel Miami Beach. This exhibition attracted international attention from both collectors and professionals, leading to further exhibitions in leading galleries worldwide. His work has also attracted the attention of major luxury brands; CHANEL acquired his sculpture "Coffre Chanel Azur" for their private collection.
In 2020, Feral introduced his first bronze sculpture, developed in collaboration with the renowned Bocquel Art Foundry, known for collaborations with modern masters such as César and Arman. These unique sculptures require over 90 hours of hand polishing and contain over 30 kilograms of bronze, testifying to his dedication to craftsmanship and detail.
Today, Roman Feral lives and works in Miami, Florida, where he continues to contribute to the international art scene with his innovative and refined approach to contemporary sculpture.
