To Vreede

Catharina Elisabeth ‘To’ Vreede was a Dutch painter. She was born in Terschelling, the Netherlands and worked in Paris for a long time. She was a pupil of Conrad Kickert. From 1939 on, she worked in Amsterdam. She was a member of artist association ‘De Onafhankelijken’ and specialized in children’s portraits.
