Hubert Malfait (Astene, 1898 - Sint-Martens-Latem, 1971) was a Belgian painter who belonged to the third Latem School. In the twenties of the 20th century he painted a number of expressionist canvases in which man is prominently in the foreground. He sometimes places his figure in a cubist construction.
