Diederik van Apple was born and raised in Leiden, Netherlands, in 1985. During his childhood, Diederik was addicted to all comic books, including Tin Tin, Walt Disney and Marvels books, as well as legendary films such as The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction and James Bond. He loved to watch, read and get lost in the stories, as if he were part of the play.
In 2003 he started his law studies, but after two years he discovered that he could not express his creativity in this study and decided to quit. In 2005 he started as an art representative in an art gallery in Amsterdam. During those years he traveled the world participating in exhibitions and art fairs for the Art Gallery and found his true passion.
With his experience, artistic insight and passion for art, he started coming up with designs for his creations. Combining his fantasy with the artistic atmosphere in which he has lived in recent years. There was no boundary between work and play and he started building unlimited modes of digital mix media art. After his first launch in 2017, he made several series of limited editions, which sold out in no time.
This was the beginning of Van Apple's artwork and his career. He took 6 months and released great new series. After his latest releases, he decided to delve deeper into the creative sphere and took a one-way flight to Ibiza. The most artistic island in the world was a great success and new things are added regularly. Currently his artworks are popular worldwide with international galleries, art lovers and investors are intrigued by his style.
