  • About the artist

    Koen Hillewaert (1964, Oostende, Belgium) grew up near Bruges. He studied physics at the University of Leuven. Thereafter, he started working in the field of Information Technology. The first digital cameras aroused his passion for photography. His own kids were his first models. Through the social photography network Flickr, his camera became an important part of his life.
