    Lucien Alliot est né à Paris le 16 novembre 1877. Il était l'élève de Barrias et Coutan, et le fils de Napoléon Alliot, sculpteur comme lui. Lucien est connu pour avoir exposé régulièrement au Salon de la Société des Artistes Français entre les années 1905 et 1939. En 1934, il en devient le président et il conserve ce poste jusqu'en 1939. Son travail est visible dans de nombreuses collections de musées à travers le monde. Alliot est décédé le 9 mars 1967.
