  • A proposito di opere d'arte
This plumier manufactured by Amalric Walter and Henri Bergé is executed in the theme of marine animals. The elongated bowl was obtained in several green and yellow swirling hues of color through the mixing and addition of glass powders after which it was fired in the pâte de verre technique. At the center is a highly refined crab sculpted in beautiful deep shades of brown with bright yellow accents added to its back. The legs, eyes and shell of the crab are extremely finely created with its body flowing away on the shell decorated with seaweed.

The plumier is signed with “Henri Bergé” & “A Walter Nancy” on the inside of the plumier.
