Fiot was born in Le Grand-Pressigny on January 22nd 1886. he was for a long time the pupil of Prosper Lecourtier. Fiot exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1910 till the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Most of the recorderd works by him consists mainly of birds, dogs , wild cats and other wild animals. His style is considered to be very modern in appearance by comparison to the other fellow artists... Most of his works were casts by the Susse Frères foundry but some of his earlier bronzes were cast by other foundries.
