    Sweet and rare Art Nouveau vase made of enamel on copper with a decoration of cornflowers. Between the cornflowers are a few glass insects fixed on the enamel, a ladybug and a beetle. The quality is beautiful, real applied art. This vase was exhibited at one of the Paris Salons between 1895 and 1904. The vase is signed on the side with "Georges-Jean" and on the bottom with "Les Essarts-le-Roi".

    Nascido em Versalhes, Jean Georges atuou na segunda metade do século XIX e no início do século XX. Ele também assinou seu trabalho com Georges-Jean. Ele trabalhou para Les-Essarts-le-Roi, entre outros. Ele também exibiu suas obras de esmalte várias vezes nos Salões de Paris e na Exposição Mundial de 1900. Seus esmaltes podem ser encontrados em vários museus, incluindo o Berliner Kunstgewerbemuseum e o Musée Petit Palais em Paris.
