    Louis Alexander Abraham Zaalborn, Rotterdam 1891- Amsterdam 1957

    Saalborn, his real name was Zaalborn, was a pupil of Piet van Wijngaerdt. his works are usually colorful and expressionistic, often painted in the atmosphere and style of the Bergen School. Saalborn, a multi-talent, was also an actor and director.
