MG 5359: THREE BYZANTINE BONE CROSSES, 14 TH CENTURY. These simple Byzantine bone crosses, were made in 14 Century in Constantinople, most possibly to be worn by Monks. (Constantinople (Greek: Κωνσταντινούπολη) was the capital of the Byzantine Empire until its fall in 1453.) These crosses have interesting carved geometric patterns. Size circa 7×4,5 cm.
