Jan Rodrigo was a Dutch painter and illustrator. He was born in Utrecht and was educated at the Art Academies of The Hague and Utrecht. As a painter, he made various works inspired by his travels to France, Italy, Greece, Egypt and Morocco. He has also made many portraits, city views and landscapes. For many years, he was co-initiator of the annual Utrecht art fair. He died at the age of 92, in Bunnik.
