Jürgen Leippert, born in 1944, is a German painter known for his expressive-realistic style. He trained with Alfred Lehmann in Stuttgart and developed into an internationally oriented artist.

Leippert mainly paints 'en plein air', working directly outdoors to capture the atmosphere and impressions of the moment. His work is characterized by a dynamic use of color and a lively brushwork, with which he tries to capture the essence of his subjects.
