William Rainey (1852-1936) was a British artist and illustrator around 1900. Studied at South Kensington School of Art & the Royal Academy Schools. He was a well-known painter in watercolors and a book illustrator, winning medals at the Chicago (1893) and Paris (1900) exhibitions.
