oil on canvas, 48x65 cm - About the artistAdriana Jacoba (Adri) Pieck was a Dutch painter and draftsman. She was homeschooled by her father, Anton Pieck, a well known Dutch artist. She mostly made watercolours and pastel. She mainly made landscapes, paintings of animals and portraits. She produced batik for a while as well. She was a member of the Kunstenaarsvereniging Sint Lucas and Gooische Schildersvereniging. Adri Pieck is difficult to place within an Art Movement, for she has a distinctive and own style, with beautiful light and bright colours.
